Long legged 'Hearth Stool' made from beautifully weathered Oak

£130.00

This little hearth stool is made from a reclaimed and beautifully weathered oak plank for both it’s seat and legs.

The 1.5” thick seat has been chamfered on the underside to remove some of it’s ‘chunkiness’ without sacrificing strength. Each leg is slightly tapering, with an octagonal cross section, firmly wedged into the seat using oak wedges

I used only hand tools to make it and burnished all surfaces with a smooth pebble before applying two coats of wax to add lustre to its natural honey colouring.

Seat 23” long x 6.5” wide x 1.5” thick
14” high overall
