Hand Carved Beech Crook Spoon
A perfect little pocket spoon carved from a shallow beech ‘crook’, or naturally curved branch wood. Following the curving grain makes for a stronger spoon and being beech, the wood is tight and close grained. The hard wood can be burnished to an extremely smooth finish. Additionally, this spoon has been baked hard in the oven and sealed with walnut oil.
